For your trade

Built for the way a kirana store actually runs

A kirana store runs on speed and memory. The counter wants the price of an item in two seconds, and you want to know who still owes you from March without finding a notebook. Pietools is built around both: a catalogue you search by name, a udhar ledger that adds up, and stock counts that move by themselves when you make a sale - all of it working when the shop's connection is down, which is often.

Counter speed is the whole game

Scan or type a few letters, and the item, rate and GST slab fill themselves in. Most repeat purchases are one tap because the catalogue keeps the last rate you used.

A khata that adds up

Credit sales join the customer's ledger automatically. See the total across every visit, send a reminder on WhatsApp, and record the part payment.

Stock without a monthly count

Every sale reduces the count and reorder alerts arrive when an item gets low - including the oil, the dal and the sugar, not just the profitable lines.

Credit and cash in one tally

Opening cash, sales, collections and the day's closing cash are all on one screen, so the drawer is explained rather than argued about.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Add your fast-moving items with price, rate and a reorder point.

  2. Step 2

Add the regular customers who take goods on credit.

  3. Step 3

Bill through the day. Everything else - stock, ledger, day totals - follows by itself.

Questions people ask

Is this made for small shops or big ones?

For shops like yours. It is a counter tool that a shopkeeper runs alone or with one or two staff, not a warehouse system with a rollout project.

What happens if the internet goes off?

Billing, stock and the khata keep working exactly as before. Backup and reminders need internet, and catch up when it is back.

Can I keep my old khata records?

Yes. Enter the outstanding balances as opening figures per customer and carry on from there; the old notebook stays useful for reference.

Does it work on a budget Android phone?

Yes. The Android build is the normal path for a shop phone and does not need a fast processor or much storage.
