Billing software that keeps up with a busy counter
Billing software for a kirana store has one job: let you finish a customer in a few seconds, with the right tax and the right stock movement, whether or not the internet is working. Pietools does that from one screen. You scan or tap the item, the amount and GST rate are already filled in, you take cash or UPI, and the receipt prints or goes to WhatsApp. The stock count comes down by itself, so the shelf and the register never disagree.
A sale, not a form
Search by name or scan a barcode. The catalogue remembers what you sold last time, including the rate and the GST slab, so repeat items are one tap instead of five fields.
Cash, UPI and udhar on the same bill
Split payment is normal in a kirana store - part cash, part UPI, and the rest on the customer's ledger. One bill carries all three, so the till matches at closing.
GST that is already correct
Set a GST rate once per product and it flows into the bill. Add your GSTIN and your B2B customers get proper tax invoices with the number printed on them.
Stock comes down by itself
Every sale reduces stock. When an item crosses the count you set, you are told - before a regular customer asks for something you no longer have.
Receipts the way the customer wants them
Print on a thermal printer, save a PDF, or send it on WhatsApp. Same bill, whichever the customer asks for at the counter.

Questions people ask
Does the billing work without internet?
Yes. Billing, stock, udhar and receipts are all stored on your own device, so a shop with no connection - or a phone with no data - keeps billing. Only cloud backup and the news feed need internet.
Is this billing software free?
The test builds are free while we test with real shops. At launch it is Rs. 200 a month or Rs. 2,000 a year, with every module included - not a per-feature price list.
Will it print on my thermal printer?
Yes. Any standard 58mm or 80mm thermal printer that Windows can print to works, and the Android build prints through the phone's print service.
Can I use it for more than one shop?
Yes. Each business gets its own stock, staff and ledger, and you switch between them from the app.
